This is Brooke DePinto, the principal of Harkers Island Elementary School calling with some important information for the coming week. The weekly All Call is sent out to Harkers Island families every Sunday evening and the script for the call can be located on our school website and Facebook page.

Friday, November 21st - Chorus performance at Core Sound Museum
Thanksgiving Family Lunch - We invite you to join us for Thanksgiving lunch with your child on Thursday, November 20. Your child brought home a letter with your lunch time and more information on pre-paying for any adult meals to make this a smooth process. These forms/money are due back on Monday, 11/17. We look forward to having you join us!
Festival of Trees Opening Reception - Our 4th and 5th grade students have been invited to join students from AES and SES to perform at the Festival of Trees Opening Reception on Friday, November 21. The reception starts at 6pm and music will begin at 7pm.
Impact Aid Forms - Impact Aid forms went home last week. Please return completed forms by 11/21 (even if you are not military affiliated). These support school funding and we need 100% completion!
Decoy Festival Raffle Tickets: Decoy Raffle Tickets went home last week. Each ticket is $1 or get 6 for $5. All proceeds go to our HIES PTO and the class with the highest sales will earn a reward!
PTO Volunteer Opportunities: Our PTO is looking for volunteers for Decoy weekend and Santa's Workshop. Please see the sign-ups on GroupMe or reach out to a PTO board member to volunteer!
