Good Evening Islander families,
This is Brooke DePinto, the principal of Harkers Island Elementary School calling with some important information for the coming week. The weekly All Call is sent out to Harkers Island families every Sunday evening and the script for the call can be located on our school website and Facebook page.
Upcoming Dates to Note:
● Monday, September 29th - Progress Reports for Grades 3-5
● Wednesday, October 1st - Lions Club Vision Screenings
● Thursday, October 2nd - PTO Meeting (5-7 PM)
● Friday, October 3rd- Garner Farm Field Trip (Grades K-2)
Progress Reports: Progress Reports for 3rd-5th grade students will go home on Monday, 9/29.
Vision Screenings: The Lion’s Club will provide free vision screenings to all students with parent permission on October 1. Please send back the form in your child’s folder to sign up for this screening opportunity.
PTO Meeting: We will have our October PTO meeting on Thursday, October 2 from 5:00-7:00 PM. We will begin planning and organizing for our Santa Shop at this meeting, so bring any items you have and come ready for a work session!
