Carteret Preschool Center is a nurturing, inclusive early childhood school that welcomes approximately 50 children ages 3 to 5 each year. Our dedicated staff quickly become like family, creating a warm and supportive environment where every child feels seen, valued, and empowered to grow.
We proudly serve children from across Carteret County through an application and screening process. Our center includes five classrooms, each led by a certified teacher and supported by a teacher assistant, ensuring individualized attention and meaningful relationships.
Our programs include NC Pre-K and Developmental Day services. Our NC Pre-K classrooms are inclusive, serving both typically developing children and children with special needs. We also offer separate Developmental Day classrooms to support students who benefit from a more specialized setting.
