Other General Reminders

• Vision screening will be happening this week - FYI

• Thanks to our PTO who put on a great ice cream social on Thursday!!  And thanks to all the families who came!!

• HIES uses Class Dojo.  If you haven’t downloaded it already, please do so!  It is very important for communication.  We will be using Dojo to communicate all bus discipline issues.  Thank you!

• Unfortunately, we have a few students that are without snacks on a regular basis.  If you are able and feel compelled, we welcome anyone to send in some extra store-bought snacks for those in need.

• Bus behavior - reminder - we are teaching and emphasizing safe bus behavior.  Your reminders at home will help.  The main things are lower volume, hands to self, and staying in seat.  Thanks

• PTO is stronger than ever!  Thanks to all who attended our last meeting.  Thanks for taking care of us with lunch and a Teacher’s Pet shopping trip.  There are many plans to do many great things for our kids.  Please join us!

• Sept 23 - booth at the Pirate Invasion - accepting donations of baked goods and water - AND VOLUNTEERS

• Update!!!!  This is a change to balance the flow and make things faster and smoother!!

• Traffic reminder - Please use the front loop for K-2 drop off and pickup.  For 3rd-5th drop off and pickup will use the side lot by the cafeteria.  You will enter and exit using the gravel driveway closest to HIFD
